Lightbulb Bands First Song

Hey guys, me and a few mates have just started up a four piece band, a few members of the band aren't that good at their instruments at the moment though, we need some suggestions of some good first songs to play together as a band. A four piece band, like i said.

Some of the easy classics are:
  • Teen Spirit - Nirvana (all instruments are fairly easy)
  • When I Come Around - Green Day (bass is the most difficult)
  • Save Tonight - Eagle Eye Cherry (all easy)
I thing you can't go wrong with most Nirvana & Greenday songs.

Thanks Danny, we already started learning an easy AC/DC song, Live Wire. We're about half way into it at the moment and doing pretty well we think. Thanks for the tips, we might just check them out.

How are you getting on with this?
let us know ..and even better - put up and mp3 and let us hear it
Its also a good excercise to record it then record it again a few months later and see how you have improved.

good luck
