Question Action adjustment causing problems

I had my brother lower my action because he did a good job doing the same thing on our old squier and I like the way it played with that setup better than mine so I had him lower it. I don't know how much he lowered it, but the low E makes a funny noise now. It's not really a rattle, it has a really wierd tone and a little bit of rattle and if a bend the string a bit it goes away a little bit. I tried raising the string back up a bit and it still does it. Does anyone know what I should do to get rid of the sound and still keep the action as low as possible?

By the way my guitar is a powerhouse strat with 3 single coil pick ups:

Thank you, Andrew
