Every Friday night (within University semesters), usually from 7pm onwards...
Hosted the State Finals for the Jim Beam Australian University Battle of the Bands in 2005.

Apart from hosting the local JCU Battle of the Bands (1 band member has to be a JCU student), the Uni Club supports original bands and has jam sessions on Friday nights. You don't need to be a uni student to play there on Friday nights...and even some bands aged under 18 years old played there last year.
