Default No More Drinks?

Ever noticed how almost all clubs you play at now don't give free drinks anymore to bands. I think only the Mad Cow does, they have the right idea, keep the muso's happy and the crowd there’re entertaining can see they’re having fun.

Would you rather hang around someone having fun or the serious dude who thinks a lot?

Com'on, get it together Townsville clubs. Muso don't make enough money to pay for drinks when there’re working..... A drunk muso relates to a drunk crowd!

Having said that....
Musicians... WHEN YOU GET THIS PRIVOLAGE, DON'T ABUSE IT!

Default Musicians have abused it out of the deal.

Drinking or Drugging while on stage is risky. I have seen more bands self destruct on stage due to excess. I saw Steve Vai last week and his band is always sober. They struted their talent and everyone had a great time. Getting high does make you sound better... to yourself. I am not against partying, but I hate seeing a band that is wasted but thinks they sound great, kinda pathetic. That is why most bars don't offer drinks, to many abusers.
