First of all I do like the look of IE7, the softer font style using Anti-Alias is nice.

MEMBERS: The first thing I noticed was when logging in there was an extra warning…

“Warning: This server is requesting that your username and password be sent in an insecure manner (basic authentication without a secure connection).”

This only means that the area you are trying to access in not a SSL connection (short for Secure Sockets Layer, a protocol developed by Netscape for transmitting private documents via the Internet.) This is mainly use for credit card transactions (show by a small lock in the bottom right hand cornet of the browser) so there is no concern for alarm when entering a basic password protected page like this one.

The next problem I have encountered is the “View Larger Diagram” links on some pages showing Flash animated diagrams. When you click these links it is suppose to show that animated diagram in a full screen window for better viewing. Because of the “Eolas Vs Microsoft” lawsuit plug-ins (midi, videos & flash animation) are handled differently now in IE6 & IE7. You will probably notice on some sites active content is boxed and you have to click before you activate it. In IE7 when you click the “View Larger Diagram” link nothing is shown in the new larger window. This is minor problem I have added to my “to Do” list for the site.

Please let me know of any other problems you may encounter.

P.S. I have been using Firefox and finding it a very capable browser.
