    • This section is exactly that, what you need to know about tuning your guitar and what to listen for. (mp3 audio examples)
  • The Basics
    • Learn about the parts of the guitar, how to hold the pick and guitar, also learn the musical alphabet and practice your finger exercises.
  • Reading Sheet Music
    • Standard musical terms like staffs, treble cleff, time signatures. Also learn about note values and how to read tab. (mp3 audio and midi examples)
  • Learning The Strings
    • Learn the basic notes on your E, A, D, G, B and E strings up to the 3rd fret. Also learn about sharps and flats. (mp3 audio and midi examples)
  • Practice Songs
    • Play song using the string notes you've learnt in the previous section. Still to come - Songs for the D, A and Low E Strings. (mp3 audio and midi examples)
  • Basic Chords
    • Learn about the five simple open chords D, A, E, C and G Major, Minor, Seventh, Major Seventh and Minor Seventh.
  • Basic Rhythm
    • Explaning how to strum simple songs and patterns. Only using eighth note rhythm patterns and also explaning how to read different styles of rhythm charts. (mp3 audio, midi and video examples)
