Beginners Basic Chords

Basic Chords (Print Page)

The guitar can either be a solo or soloing instrument, for example when you are learning songs in the "Practice Song" section, you are playing the melody of the song and the guitar becomes the lead or soloing instrument. When you play chord and rhythm, the guitar becomes a backing instrument with a full sound to accompany either a vocalist or another lead instrument.

Below shows you how to read the diagrams for playing chords on the guitar.
