When I first started playing the guitar, I naturally wanted to be a rock star. As time went on I wanted to make millions from my song writing. You'll find as you go through life, your views and priorities will change. Don't create music for what you think everyone else will like (if you do this you are no more than a "Pop Star"). Write music for yourself, and if people like it then let them in your creative circle and share your music with them.
When I play in covers bands, I get more enjoyment from ONE person complementing me on a song I enjoy playing than twenty people saying what a great job I did on "Roadhouse Blues" or "Khe shan". No offence to the people who like those songs but I just HATE playing them.
The point being, music creativity comes from inside you, what you've experienced and what you know to be. Don't try to be someone else when you’re writing a song

(02) Danny Poole - Killed The Game POP & ROCK - If you have ever written a song, painted or have done anything creative, you will know that your latest creation is always your favourite. Killed The Game is a cross between Metallica & Pink Floyd, with a little Moody Blues thrown in (so I have been told). It is hard and heavy, and I love the guitar sound in it. I also sing in this song. |

Make You Strong is as much as I hate to use the term... a bit of a rock love ballad. If you have ever had a friend or loved one leave you, you will probably connect with this song. |

(10) Caroline Wilson - Leaving On A Jet Plane BALLAD - This is a cover of the old John Denver song also performed by Peter, Paul, and Mary. It features a great vocalist named Caroline. It is acoustic based with keyboards and sampled drums. It will definitely be too soft for all you metal heads! |
