"Error Reading linearized hint data" when displaying PDF in the web browser

Description:

When trying to view a PDF from the browser, an error message saying:

Acrobat Reader - Error Reading linearized hint data

is displayed.

Solution:

Acrobat Reader 5 - select Edit/Preferences/Options. Disable the entry: "Allow fast web view". Save the changes and reopen the web browser. Now the PDF is displayed.

Acrobat Reader 6 - select Edit/Preferences/Internet/Web Browser Options. Disable the entry: "Allow fast web view". Save the changes and reopen the web browser. Now the PDF is displayed.
