mmmmmmm.... It's hard to say without hearing it. Usually when strings are lowered they start to hit the frets when played (causing the rattle), this is more so true for the thicker strings as the vibrate over more of an area than a thinner strings. Sometimes the frets can be out of shape so that when you bend the note it deadens, yours sound like this problem but in reverse. It could do with a fret filing and set-up from a guitar tech.
