| The Offspring are a band that mainly uses
5th chords, their chord structures have always been colorful
and fast. If you are just learning 5th chords you will find
offspring songs difficult, when you can comfortably play their
songs then you have mastered your 5th chords.
Intro Riff
The only help I can give you when learning this
intro riff is "take it slowly", I have always seen
students rush this song and try to get it up to speed, all
you are doing is learning your mistakes. If you play the riffs
in this song slow enough that you know exactly what the next
note is, then you'll learn it at a quicker pace.

Verse Main Riff
The first riff goes through 3 times, then the
4th time go on to the second part using the 5th chords (G5
as a root 6 and E5 as a root 5). This riff goes throughout
most of the song, once again, learn it slowly first.

Strum down on each chord !
Chorus (part 1)
If you're use to using correct strumming, then
you'll strum like this over first two bars, D=Down & U=Up
( D D D DU U UD D ).
Because this song is using 5th chords, you generally get a
better sound on a distorted 5th chord when you strum down,
so it doesn't matter too much if you strum down over every
chord, just make sure you get the timing right.

Chorus (Part 2)
Once again you can strum down on every chord,
just listen to your timing.
