Metronome Online
- http://www.metronomeonline.com
A metronome can seem like one of the most uninteresting things
to buy when you start playing the guitar. If you think you
might have bad timing then use this online metronome to help
you with strumming, scales or finger exercises. |

Chord Find
- http://www.chordfind.com
Do you have some "tab" or "chord pro"
music you've picked up off the net? then use this site to
help you find the chords to the song. Nothing beats the help
of a friend or teacher but this will get you on the right
track. |

Looking For Tab/Chords/Lyrics
- http://www.google.com
Don't worry about sticking to one Tab site or having a list
of Tab sites. Just type the name of the song you want into
google and end with tab e.g. "teenage dirtbag tab"
or "teenage dirtbag chords" or "teenage dirtbag
lyrics". It's always worked for me and most tab sites
have the same transcription anyway. |

Tab Editing Software
- http://www.guitar-pro.com
- Guitar Pro is a multitrack tablature editor for guitar,
banjo and bass. Besides writing scores, Guitar Pro is a complete
tool for young and accomplished guitarists alike to progress,
compose, or simply accompany themselves. |

Tuition Site
- http://www.hotfrets.com
- I was impressed with this site, it uses "Macromedia
Flash" files to present it's lessons. There are a few
useful items in the "Cool Tools" menu.
Have a go at one of the Free Lessons "12-Bar
Blues". It a little advanced but it's fun to play
with.
The subscription to this site is bordering on pricey but
if you've got some spare change and a thirst to learn the
sign up. |

Music Theory Tuition
Site - http://musictheory.net/index.html
- This site is not in relation to the guitar but it has simple,
direct lessons on music theory. This is a very useful tool for
student who want to go past the boundaries of just learning
songs. |

Blank Sheet Music
- http://www.blanksheetmusic.net/

musical the use this site |
