To Tune
(4 Lessons)

|
This section is exactly that, what you
need to know about tuning your guitar and what to listen
for.
Unfortunately tuning the guitar is one of the harder
tasks to attempt when starting to play the guitar, it
is also one of the more important. If your guitar is always
out of tune you will have a hard time hearing how a songs
should sound.

The
Basics
(7 Lessons)

|
Learn about the parts of the guitar, how to hold the
pick and guitar, also learn the musical alphabet and practice
your finger exercises.
I won't lie to you, learning these basics can be boring,
especially when reading sheet music. This may not sound
like much of an incentive to make you learn this, but
nobody is going to make you learn these basics, it is
totally up to you.

Every note you play on the guitar is equal to a note
on sheet music and vise versa. In this section you will
learn how to read the notes on sheet music and convert
them to notes on the guitar. It is a simple process that
is easy to learn but can take a while to master.
